Although it was absent for two years, it was re-installed in Spring 2006. The City has appealed a court decision ordering dredging in the beach area.</p>";

School group field trips teach the importance and reality of marine mammal protection at one of only two seal nursery beaches on the Southern California coast (the other is at Pt. Mugu).</p>";

Carrying handmade signs, and raking protection lines in the sand, they keep a steady vigil to educate, warn, and document. The video linked below is a product of this citizen effort.</p>";
