var text1      = "
Unmarked Trail
A line of students' backpacks behind the fence along the Point Bonita Lighthouse Trail reveals that there is a hidden, unmarked trail down the side of the hill. var text2 = "
Unofficial Trail
Despite the need to go over, around, or under a substantial Park Service fence to reach it, it is clear that the trail has been taken many times in the past. It is well-worn, and open all the way to the beach, rocks, tidepools, and abandoned wharf far down the slope below. The trail is not shown on maps availble to visitors.
";
var text3      = "
Unsafe Trail
The trail appears to meet no standards of public safety established by any recreational jurisdiction in the area. It is very narrow, steep, and has rusted culvert pipe along its edge at the most hazardous part of the descent. There are no handrails, steps, or warning signs.
";
var text4      = "
Unprotected Seals
Harbor seal resting areas on the rocks below are regularly used by new pups and their mothers. Climbers on the trail and vistors using the shoreline too often disturb them causing alarm and even driving them into the water. There are no signs either warning that it is a Federal offense to molest or to interfere with any marine mammal or giving guidlines for responsible viewing and appropriate distances.
";
